Nancy Ellison Everett graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA in Graphic Design. Additionally, she studied art abroad with the UGA Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy. After college, she spent 11 years in advertising. She left advertising to stay home to raise her children and work on her artwork. During this time, she has studied with various local artists including: Nancy Honea, Comer Jennings, Ouida Cannady, Henry Barnes, Susan Oglivie and Roger Dale Brown and Dyanne Carpenter. She works in a variety of mediums including pastel, watercolor, and oil. Favorite subject matter includes portraits, figures and landscapes. Bold movement of line and vibrant expression of color are the most common themes found in her work.
